Wednesday Workbench – Many works in progress

So I have been busy busy busy drawing Eli’s Family Tree for the Family Strange project.  I also kind of developed a new style for my work both in technique and drawing style.

The whole group drawn up at the right size just waiting to be colored!

There will be eight new paintings for Eli’s Family Strange Circus!  I’m excited to see how they are coming along.

There are three sets of twins in this family tree thus far!

I definitely pushed myself artistically as I worked on turning the body and face, and so many other small things!  Every day is a learning curve and I love it!  Sometimes it hurts… but I love it!

My conjoined twins with some bold colors!

While I love color I think I’ve been a little afraid to paint and draw with it!  I tend to feel comfortable in the muted vintage washed colors but lately I’ve been trying to embrace bold beautiful colors as well!

My soon to be tattooed lady!

And this here little lady is my biggest challenge right now… my tattooed lady!  Drawing small is a challenge for me and also drawing the types of things that are tattoos is still a little outside my wheel house.  I haven’t done much realistic drawing so I’m still trying to figure out how her tattoos are going to turn out!  So thats what all is on my workbench.  Drawing and painting Eli’s fun family!
