My work is an exploration of memory and emotion. Memory is such a broad topic that I feel an endless connection and flow of inspiration from its many facets. The people I knew, places I've been, dreams, feelings and my surroundings are all inspirations for me to work from. While many of my inspirations come from personal sources I believe the work created from them expresses universal and timeless emotions. After moving frequently as a child my family settled down in the Northwest. I received my BFA in Photography from the Art Institute of Seattle in 2010 and my MFA from Washington State University in 2012. My heart belongs in the rainy forests of greater Seattle Washington and here I shall remain and creating art with my loving husband!
